Building Information
The Warwickshire Museum Service is the County Service for Warwickshire. We have two sites in Warwick: the Market Hall Museum in the Market Place and St Johns House. We also display part of our collection of Roman artefacts at Roman Alcester in the south-west Warwickshire.
Collections Overview
The Warwickshire collections began with the activities of the Warwickshire Natural History and Archaeological Society in1836. Today's collections are broad in scope, covering Archaeology, Biology, Geology, Numismatics, Photography and Social History. Whilst early collections were world-wide in character, more recent collecting has been focused on good quality, well documented Warwickshire material.
