Building Information
The building was built as a museum in 1910 by the Louth Naturalistsí Antiquarian and Literary Society, on a plot of land provided by the Borough Council. The building was extended in 2006 to include additional galleries, an education room and library plus new storage facilities.

Display Overview
Small museum displaying domestic, local and natural history, with special exhibits relating to printing, locally made carpets ,weights and measures and local wood carver, T W Wallis. There is a replica panorama of Louth, a 16th century Spanish bedcover a display of the Louth 1920 flood and information on Sir John Balle and local architect James Fowler.
