Collections Overview
The collection consists of artifacts, photographs, ephemera and items illustrative of the life of the people and industries of Measham and the surrounding villages of Donisthorpe and Oakthorpe from pre-history to the present day. The core collection consists of artefacts and documents preserved by the late Dr Jack Hart.
Display Overview
The permanent displays include examples of Measham Ware Pottery, a collection of mining artifacts, and the Hart collection. Artefacts, pictures ,letters and documents gathered by father and son local doctors, providing an insight into local health care over nearly 100 years.
