Building Information
The 13th.C. church became unsafe in the early 18th.C. and was replaced in 1721. This church acquired a new steeple by G.E. Street in 1852, and the rest of the structure was again replaced in 1868. It was converted into its present form, with a heritage centre alongside a smaller chapel for continuing worship, in 1981.
Collections Overview
The Centre owns only a very small collection, most of its displays being focused on high quality loan material addressing on well-known events and personalities in the City's history.
Display Overview
The Heritage Centre includes a shop and coffee bar as well as a display area for its small but good quality collection, and the chapel. Showcased displays are supplemented by tableaux and AV presentations.
