Community museum with extensive collection of agricultural and domestic artefacts, photographs and archives illustrating life in March and the surrounding villages.

Overview of how collections are displayed

A series of room reconstructions depict a turn of the century kitchen, parlour and nursery. A working blacksmith's forge has been reconstructed in the courtyard, alongside a rebuilt Fenland cottage, complete with outside privy. Other displays examine the evolution of the Fenland landscape, local businesses, schools and institutions, agriculture, local crafts and trades

Star Objects at this location

George Cross awarded to Ben Gimbert in 1944 for saving the town of Soham from destruction by a burning ammunition train. The Guidon of Doddington & Hamlets Yeomanry presented to the troupe in 1798 and lodged in St. Wendreda's church, March when the cavalry was disbanded in 1828.
1919 Peace Banner used for the Peace Rally held in March. The banner was hand painted by a March man.
