Overview of collections

The museum collections cover the history and life of the regiment from its 17th.C origins. They include two VCs.

Overview of how collections are displayed

The displays tell the history of the regiment in five main periods: raising of the regiment and early service; the wars against the French; 19th.C and colonial wars; the World wars; and post-war to the present. Wherever possible the story is told through the experiences of individual soldiers.
