Jane Austen lived here from 1809 until 1817. Rooms on show include drawing room, parlour where Jane wrote on a round table, bedroom with patch work quilt she made, and 4 other rooms with memoribilia of her brothers Frank and Charles and a period costume display. Garden surrounds the house and donkey carriage in the old bakehouse.
