Collections relating to the history of Manchester United Football Club, its players, managers and grounds from 1878 to the present day. There are in excess of 18,000 items within the Manchester United Football Club collection with a further loan collection of c.1,000 items and a significant archive collection.

The permanent displays look at aspects of the history of Manchester United Football Club. These include a Trophy Room; the History of Manchester United; the Munich Air Disaster of 1958; United's Youth Policy; Kit and Equipment over the years; United Legends; United Managers; Supporters; United as a Business; United on Tour; Old Trafford Stadium; the Treble of 1999.
There is also a changing programme of temporary exhibitions on football related subjects.
