Overview of how collections are displayed

Fakenham Gas works was opened in 1846 and worked until 1965 when town gas was replaced by natural gas. In addition to the original works buildings, there are displays of gas appliances such as cookers and fires, gas meters, and gas engineers' tools and equipment.
