Overview of collections

The bulk of the collection consists of tiles and moulds relating both to the site itself (the Craven Dunnill Tile Works), and the neighbouring Maw and Co. factory (now an arts centre). The museum also houses the Ironbridge Museums' mineral and geology collections.

Overview of how collections are displayed

The Trade Showroom and the administrative offices of the original factory have been restored and now house the main collection displays. In addition, two tile-making companies are housed on site, so that visitors can view the tile-making process itself.
A separate gallery presents the geological collections belonging to the Ironbridge Museums.
