Overview of how collections are displayed

The Museum helps you find out about the many different people who have lived in the borough of Redbridge and the events that have happened there. The museum opened in October 2000 with a wonderful range of exhibits covering the history of Redbridge. Its uses sounds and voices from past and present and allows you to touch some real objects - or learn from multimedia/computer displays. There's a Children's Trail to discover what shaped Redbridge's architecture and landscape and the museum is designed with accessibility for all in mind, with Braille and large-print labels and audio points with transcriptions.Free education sessions linked to the National Curriculum are on offer for school groups, and resources for teachers.
